Zaostrog, Croatia

sunny 84 °F

Today is the first day I've got on the internet. It seems internet is hard to find here so I'm not sure how up to date I'll be but I'll try to post as often as I can find an Internet Cafe!

We are in a small beach town today called Zaostrog. We got in on Thursday in Zagreb. Thanks to Pete's dad (Thank you Richard!) we stayed in a 4 star Sheraton in downtown Zagreb - very nice hotel. Pete and I are gauking at the women here - they are tall, skinny and Hot! Everywhere we go - hot women. So far I want to take back a Honda Civic Type S and a Croatian girl.

We got our car (an Astra stationwagon - diesel). The people here are very nice! The Croatians are a good-looking people (men and women). We started to drive to the coast from Zagreb and stayed in Split the first night. The next day we spent at the beach. Very nice beaches. Split is a fairly large town and somewhat touristy. We liked it so much we forgot our friends (Letti and Ume) were coming in to town. We were supposed to pick them up from the airport in Dubrovnik. It took us 4.5 hours to drive 200 miles. It was a very scenic drive (I'll post pictures later) but one lane with lots of slow cars. We were lucky their plane was late because we might have missed them and not see them on the trip at all.

I'll have to continue later... There's people waiting to kick me off this slow computer.
